HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE
Rock County residents may dispose of household hazardous waste products free of charge throughout the year by making an appointment with SWCD office. Appointments are taken for the first and third Thursday of each month. Products are brought to the Rock County Transfer Station and a staff member from our office will meet you there.
Countywide Collections:
Household Hazardous Waste - late summer/early fall. No appointment necessary - products taken from noon until 6 pm at the Rock County Transfer Station. Date will be published on our website and in the Rock County Star Herald or give us a call.
Empty Pesticide Container Collection - late summer/early fall. No appointment necessary - empty, triple rinsed containers collected at Ketterling Services, Inc. from 10 am until noon. Date will be published on our website and in the Rock County Star Herald or give us a call.
